Project #2 - Block of the Month - Hopscotch, Part 1

So a while back, I bought a complete BOM (Block of the Month) collection from Nicole at Sister's Choice Quilts. I figured it would be a good way to learn quilting patterns and have most of the complicated cutting work done for me.

There are 10 patterns and then the finishing parts to do. About every 4 - 5 days, in between other projects, I'll make a block.

Today I finished my 5th block, so I am halfway done with the block portion of the quilt. Here's a collection of the 5 I have done so far:

Veronica, what a wonderful project! I love your squares. What I love the most about them are the colors you chose! How beautiful. Anyway, I wanted to stop by your blog and tell you thanks for following my blog Sometimes I Think.

I love this blog of yours. I will be back to read more when I have more time. Right now I am with my husband -- actually, I'm at Hope Lodge, where cancer survivors and their families stay -- while my husband is in the hospital. He had to be admitted on Saturday. He's out of the woods as of yesterday -- he's going to make it -- but will probably be in the hospital for a few more days. So I'll be busy for a few days before I can visit blogs again. I may try to post tonight or tomoorrow, however. It depends whether or not I have time...

Anyway, thought I'd check out this blog of yours. I'll check out some of your other blogs also!
